Achumba succeeds Olusile as CPN’s Secretary

Mr. Allwell C. Achumba, a Fellow of the Nigerian Computer Society, (NCS) has been appointed as the new Registrar/Secretary to the Council of the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).

This was done at the 79th meeting of the Council regular meeting recently held at Lagos.

Achumba succeeded Mr. Idowu Olusile who was the Acting Registrar.

The council is primarily charged with the responsibility of building up local Information Technology (IT) capacity as well as the regulation of IT practice in the country.

As a foremost Information Technology practitioner in the country, Mr. Achumba will assuredly take the Council to higher heights with his strong managerial background, senior level local and international experience and cross sector exposure.

He also possesses good strategic appreciation and vision and also an ability to build and enforce sophisticated plans with a proven track record explicitly supporting business needs.
