The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN) has appealed  to airlines, passengers and other stakeholders at  the international wing of the  Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos to bear with the authority, as some facilities at the airport  are functioning below capacity.

An online statement signed by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, explained that the below capacity functioning of the equipment at the facility  was due to system upgrade challenges, which further slowed down the pace of passenger facilitation.

Yakubu stated that the authority was doing everything possible to commission the brand new international terminal in Lagos as soon as possible to reduce the stress on the agency’s  customers.
She also said that the authority is also working assiduously to ensure that the aged equipment/facilities  at the old terminal are maintained in optimal working conditions.

FAAN, Yakubu said, is committed to its core values of safety, security and comfort
