Nestlé Nigeria, has celebrated 150 years of good nutrition, marked by the creation of Farine lactée (Cerelac) which saved the life of an infant.

The Country Manager of Nestle Nigeria, Mr. Mauricio Alarcon who spoke through Dr. Rizwan, to mark the celebration in Lagos expressed the desire and readiness of Nestlé to continue to collaborate with the relevant government department and other Partners in addressing some of the areas of identifying baselines as well as working on Nutrition Solutions to improve Nutrition Indicators for Nigeria.

The company has invested in 3 production sites in Agbara, Flowergate and recently in Abaji supporting the local sourcing of raw materials and the investments in rural communities.

In marking the celebration, the company organised a factory tour for stakeholders at Agbara.

Among the guests in attendance was the wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun who represented the wife of the Nigerian President, Hajia Aisha Buhari.
