As Easter holiday draws, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured passengers and other airport users that its network of airports are fully prepared and ready for the usual upsurge in passenger traffic that is the norm around this season.

The agency gave the assurance in an online statement issued by the General Manager Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu at the authority’s headquarters in Lagos.

FAAN noted that all necessary facilities, infrastructure and manpower to ensure seamless facilitation at the airports have been deployed.

Assuring passengers of safety and security, FAAN added that relevant security agencies have been mobilised to beef up security at all airports.

The authority advised passengers to endeavour to leave for the airport early enough to ensure that check in formalities are conducted in good time.

FAAN, she said is committed to her core values of safety, security and comfort.
