Nestlé Unveils New Innovative Packaging Design For Golden Morn

In a bid to enhance the breakfast experience of consumers, Nestlé Golden Morn , a leading iconic brand in the  cereal industry, has announced the launch of its eco-friendly redesigned packaging.
The unveiling of the refreshed packaging marks a significant milestone for the beloved brand which has existed for more than 30years , as it seeks to innovate and revitalize its visual identity while staying true to its commitment to quality and consumer satisfaction.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony which took place at Nestle’s head office , tagged “Rebirth of the King of Breakfast”,  the Managing Director, Nestlé Nigeria, Mr. Wassim Elhusseini said that for over three decades, Golden Morn has held a special place in Nigerian households, transcending its role as a mere breakfast cereal to become a symbol of nourishment, community, and pride for millions of families nationwide.
The MD who was ably represented by the firm’s commercial manager, Boladale Odunlami said that the brand’s journey from its humble origins to its current status as a beloved household name reflects its unwavering dedication to delivering wholesome goodness to tables across Nigeria.
“Beyond being a breakfast staple, Golden Morn’s impact resonates deeply within the community, reflecting a broader commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. By prioritizing local production and supporting Nigerian farmers, the brand exemplifies a holistic approach to food production that goes beyond mere sustenance, fostering economic empowerment and community development.”
“A standout feature that sets Golden Morn apart is its 100% Nigerian sourcing. Every spoonful of the cereal represents the dedication and hard work of local farmers, with the grains grown and harvested on Nigerian soil. This commitment to sourcing locally not only ensures freshness and nutritional quality but also contributes to the growth of the local economy and the empowerment of Nigerian families.”
With a focus on improving product quality, increasing livelihoods, and enhancing overall quality of life , he said , “Nestle Nigeria’s initiatives prioritize environmental value chains and sustainable farming practices. By equipping farmers with the necessary tools, training, and financial support, Nestle Nigeria is not only ensuring the safety and quality of ingredients used in its products but also driving positive change within agricultural communities.”
Meanwhile despite the updated appearance, Nestle Nigeria assured that the taste and quality as well  of ingredients in Golden Morn as well as the price still remain the same.
In his words , the Nestle’s Category Manager, Dairy, Omofasa Orhiunu, maintained that Golden Morn stands out for several reasons.
“Starting with its nutritious ingredients. The cereal is fortified with a smart blend of ions, vitamins, and energy-boosting nutrients, making it a wholesome and nourishing choice for all ages. Additionally, its convenience and ease of preparation make it an ideal option for busy individuals and families seeking a quick and satisfying breakfast solution.”

Also speaking at the occasion, Nestlé’s Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability Lead, Victoria Uwadoka,  underscored the company’s focus on environmental responsibility and recognizing the importance of preserving the planet for future generations.
“Noteworthy in the announcement was Nestle’s pledge to ensure that all of its packaging, globally including Nigeria, will be 95 percent recyclable or reusable by 2025. This bold commitment is a significant step towards achieving a more sustainable future and reflects Nestle’s dedication to reducing its environmental footprint.”
