It was a moment of joy and jubilation at the Anambra State Police Command Headquarters, Amawbia, as 110 newly promoted Police  Officers were decorated  with their new ranks.
Among those decorated  were 20 Superintendents of Police, who were promoted to Chief Superintendents of Police, 24 Deputy Superintendents of Police, promoted to Superintendents of Police, and 66 Assistant  Superintendents of Police, who were promoted to Deputy Superintendents of Police.
In his speech, the Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Obono ltam, said that the newly promoted  officers were expected to live above the ranks. He also urged them to use the ranks very well to discipline other people.
The Commissioner, who was ably represented by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fidelis Ogarabe, said that the promotion was signed by the Police Service Commission, and urged  those who were not promoted yet to pray in order to be promoted, noting that promotion is by God.
In his vote of thanks, the Deputy Police Officer in-charge of Neni Division, CSP Andy Jokpeyibo, thanked everyone that graced  the occasion, especially the Commissioner, saying that by the grace of God, they are  going to do more on the next rank.
