The Anambra State Government is actively investigating the recent clash between Special Anti-Touting Squad (SASA) operatives and individuals in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area, which led to property damage.
In a press release by Dr. Law Mefor, Information Commissioner, Anambra State, stated, “We assure the people of Obosi and the general public that we will take decisive action to prevent similar incidents in the future.”
“To enhance professionalism and efficiency, SASA is undergoing reorganisation. This step aims to ensure the squad operates effectively and responsibly.”
The government urges calm and cooperation from residents as we work to resolve this matter, he said.
