In line with providing good governance to the people, the gubernatorial candidate for All Progressive congress( APC) Prince Nicolas Ukachukwu has promised to give cash reward of N2 million to any ward that has the highest number of registered voters. He called on eligible voters to participate in the on- going continuous voter registration (CVR) for this year poll.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the commencement of CVR effective today to allow eligible voters obtain voter cards before the July 17th 2025 deadline while those who is seeking to replace lost voter cards should validate them online.
Ukachukwu while addressing the people at Ogidi market and St. Mark”s Ojoto in continuation of his Thank You Tour of the 21 Local Governments Areas of the state decried the high level of deterioration of the environment and insecurity across the state ,promising to fix it .
He promised that his administration would stop kidnappings and killings in order to provide an enabling environment for transformation of the state, probe all human rights violations against the state, Anti- touting squad ( SASA) to bring justice to bear on them.
In the same vain,Ukachukwu, the running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife called on the voters to use their votes and unseat the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led by Professor Chukwuma Soludo, adding that APC would take over power come November 8th 2025.
Also speaking, the State Party Chairman of APC, Basil Ejidike, State Woman Leader, Mrs Maria Ojielo; Idemili North LGA Chairman,Charles Obadike; former Youth Leader of APC in the South-East Zone, Chief Olisaemeka Onyeka; Chief Vin Obi; Okelo Madukaife; Lady Agatha; Mrs Obiakor and Dan Igbokwubili pledged for mobilize support for victory of APC.
