Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate in Anambra State, has secured the endorsement of traders from the state’s 76 markets.
The traders, who signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ukachukwu, expressed their support for his candidacy and pledged to vote for him in the November 8 election.
Ukachukwu made pledges of restoration of security, 24-hour daily power supply and awarding of scholarships to indegent Anambra people.
He equally promised to address excruciating and multiple of taxation, improvement of poor road networks and eradcation of touts, even as he assured the traders of his commitment to addressing their concerns and improving the lives of Anambra citizens.
He also promised to tap the Omasi gas deposit in Ayamelum Council Area to benefit the citizens and provide stable qualitative energy and security.
Additionally, the Imolites, a group of people from Imo State living in Anambra, have also pledged their support for Ukachukwu, citing their desire for improved security and governance.
