The burial and funeral ceremony for Chief Benedict Nweke Onuorah Ononiwu Nwosu, a 100-year-old elder statesman from Umudioka, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, took place on October 23, 2025.
The event drew dignitaries and personalities from various parts of the world, who came to pay their respects and seek blessings from the family.
Chief Kizzitto Nwosu, the deceased’s son, described his father as a hardworking and focused individual who prioritized his children’s education.
He prayed for a successful ceremony and for his father’s soul to rest in peace.
Chief Kizito Nwosu used the ocassion to pray to God Almighty to grant all his guests journey mercies and more importantly lead them safely to their various destinations.
Other speakers, including Chief Murphy, Nwadioranma, and Chief Ezeomeogo, condoled with the family and encouraged them to uphold the late chief’s legacy.
