
The Honourable Minister of Power Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fasola has received the first Annual Report from the current Board of Directors of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) in Abuja.
Mr. Fashola maintained that if the same was replicated in all the 36 states of the Federation, there would be significant achievement made in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the Federation.
He thanked the Chairman and members of the Board for returning to give account of their stewardship and hoped that the FHA will rise to the challenge and continue to meet more housing demands as the Federal Mortgage Bank was also doing..
He urged other Parastatals within the Ministry to adopt submission of their Annual Reports and further promised to read and escalate the Report with its salient points to Mr. President for further consideration and action.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman Board of Directors, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Senator Mohammed Shuaibu asserted that the Annual Report was to be the first ever prepared by any Board of the Agency to its supervising Ministry and was aimed at highlighting efforts of the Board in the first year since its inauguration on 1stMarch, 2018.
