The NSE All Share Index as well as the NSE Market Capitalisation have continued to rise with both appreciating on Wednesday by 2.95 per cent.

The NSE All Share Index rose by 790.47 basis points to close at 27,546.68 basis points.

While the NSE Market Capitalisation appreciated by 273 billion Naira when it closed at 9,522 trillion Naira.

The volume of shares traded were 5.84 million shares Naira valued at 5.651 billion Naira in 5,121 deals.

50 stocks appreciated compared to Tuesday’s 34 stocks while 9 stocks depreciated compared to Tuesday’s 8 stocks.

GAINERS
OANDO PLC has again maintained the top gainer position for the third time on a row when it closed at N9.57 per share, gaining 88 kobo or 10.13 per cent.

Other gainers include; NIGERIAN AVIATION HANDLING COMPANY PLC, FIDSON HEALTHCARE PLC, DIAMOND BANK PLC and TRANSNATIONAL CORPORATION OF NIGERIA PLC having a closing price of N3.32, N2.02, 92 kobo and N1.15 per share respectively.

While the gains recorded by the above top gainers are; 30 kobo or 9.93 per cent, 18 kobo or 9.78 per cent, 8 kobo or 9.52 per cent and 10 kobo or 9.52 per cent gains respectively.

LOSERS
The following stocks however topped the losers’ table;
LAFARGE AFRICA PLC. Led the losers with a closing price of N46.08 per share, falling by N2.42 or 4.99 per cent.

NEWREST ASL NIGERIA PLC flowed with a closing price of N4.73 per share compared to yesterday’s closing price of N4.97 per share, losing 24 kobo or 4.83 per cent.

JAIZ BANK PLC and CAVERTON OFFSHORE SUPPORT GRP PLC recorded loses of 5 kobo or 4.76 per cent and 4 kobo or 4.30 per cent respectively when they closed at N1.00 and 89 kobo per share respectively.
