The 8th ANSEC Meeting of 2025, took place on May 19, 2025, at the new Anambra State Government House Mini City, marking the first-ever meeting held at the permanent location. This historic milestone breaks the 34-year jinx of lacking a permanent Government House.

During the meeting, the Council relived the successful presidential visit, commending Ndi Anambra for their warm hospitality, which left a lasting impression on the President and his entourage.

Key Decisions:

1. Kaolin Factory Privatisation: The Council reviewed the Kaolin factory’s status report and determined that it’s ready for commercial production. Privatisation will follow the completion of the proof of concept to ensure profitable operation.

2. Anambra Country Club Launch: The Council set in motion processes for the launch of the Awka Country Club, a component of the recently commissioned Solution Fun City.

The Council prayed that decisions made at the new ANSEC chambers would promote welfare, unity, security, and prosperity for Ndi Anambra, Nigerians, and humanity.
