Statistics have it that there is roughly 1.1 billion young girls around the globe. And even though great progress have been made to make their lives better, there are still serious issues concerning their wellbeing especially in rural areas.

And one of such issues is non affordability of sanitary pads during mensuration.

It has been observed that due to ignorance and mostly lack of funds ,the girl child suffer untold hardship during mensuration .

Hence to commemorate this year’s International Day of the Girl in Enugu , That Fearless Girl Initiative , founded by Miss Iheanacho I Christabel, a platform that seeks to empower young girls in her community with focus on Education, Hygiene and Mentoring and Green Ice Foundation of Mrs Vanessa Nnadi, empowered both rural and urban girls of Enugu community with Reusable sanitary pads from pad up creations .

Expressing gratitude , Ms Iheanacho thanked those who supported the project and also Pad Up Creations for their support while calling on government and other stakeholders to come and support this worthy cause.
