As part of her contribution to reduce health issues among women and children in Nigeria, wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari will today, Thursday, lay the foundation stone for a health center in Daura, Katsina State.

Mrs. Buhari has through her pet project, ‘The Future Assured Programme’ been an advocate for the health of women and children in Nigeria.

In a statement, the Media Director in the office of the Wife of the President, Suleiman Haruna says the event will run simultaneously with her medical and nutrition outreach programme, also holding today in Wadata, Benue State, north-central Nigeria.

The Daura event is expected to be graced by the Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari and wives of Governors from across the country.
