Stock Exchange market capitalization sustains growth

After hitting  the 12 trillion Naira mark on Tuesday,  the market capitalisation which opened at 12,246 trillion Naira, further increased by 417 billion Naira or 3.41% to close today  at 12,6623 trillion  Naira.

The All Share Index on the other hand opened  at 35,533.00 basis points to close at 36,740.77basis points,  gaining 1207.77 basis points or 3.41%.

31 stocks appreciated at the close of Wednesday ‘s trading activities while 17 stocks depreciated.

GAINERS

The following are the top three gainers in today’s activities;

CONOIL Plc opened  at N29.98 per share and closed at N33.04 per share,  gaining N3.06 or 10.21per cent.

FIDSON Healthcare Plc opened at N3.08 per share and closed at N3.39 per share,  gaining 0.31 Kobo or 10.06 per cent.

While OANDO Plc opened at N7.85 per share and closed at N8.40 per share,  gaining 0.55 Kobo or 7.01per cent.

LOSERS

On the losers ‘ table however, AIICO Insurance Plc topped the chart by 0.03 kobo or 5.26 per cent when it opened at 0.57 Kobo per share but closed at 0.54 Kobo per share.

While SCOA Nigeria Plc  followed, falling by  0.18 kobo or 4.77 per cent, opening  transactions at N3.77 per share and closing at N3.59 per share.

Then Union Bank Nigeria Plc which had an opening price of N5.69 per share,  closed today at N5.43 per share,  falling by 0.26 kobo  or 4.57 per cent.
