Unic Insurance taken over by NAICOM

The management of UNIC Insurance Plc. has just been taken over by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) on Thursday.
NAICOM also appointed Chief Samuel Ordu as chairman of interim board to manage the affairs of the company in the next six months.
Others are the interim Managing Director/Chief Executive Officers,  Theophilus Eke; Ifeyinwa Ann Momah and Nicholas Shaiyen.
The interim board has an initial period of six months to do a forensic on the financial position and as well the corporate governance failures of the financial statement of the company.
