The Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) has dissociated itself from the visit paid by some of its members to the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) to affirm their solidarity on Founder and Senior Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo rape case.
The pastors, led by the Northcentral Chairman of CAN, Revd. Israel Akanji, had recently visited and addressed COZA church in Abuja, declaring that CAN is solidly behind the embattled Fatoyinbo, who is accused of rape by Busola Dakolo, wife to Nigeria popular artiste, Timi Dakolo.
But unfortunately, CAN did not approve the visit.
“We can tell you PFN has constituted a panel investigating the matter, and in less than two weeks, the outcome of the investigation will come out.
“We urge all Christian brothers and sisters to know that this is the position of CAN.
“We would not spare anyone found wanting from facing appropriate disciplinary actions.”
