Smile Offers 100% More Data for This Weekend’s Delight

No Comments Share:

From Thursday July 30, 2020, which in Nigeria heralds the two days public holidays courtesy of the Eid-el Kabir, Nigerians are truly in for a double delight. The purveyor of the double treat is West Africa’s pioneer 4G LTE broadband service provider Smile Nigeria.

Beginning from Thursday July 30, 2020 and teeing off on Sunday August 2, 2020 Smile will be offering its customers DoubleData which will assure for all its subscribers 100% more data. The process is simple; subscribers are to recharge with any Bigga data plan and get Double Data.

According to Abdul Hafeez, Smile Nigeria’s Chief Marketing Officer, the 100% bonus offer will be valid for 14 days effective from the day of purchase. To ensure an even spread and round the clock benefit 50% of the bonus will be available for night use between 12.00am and 6.00am while 50% of the bonus is for anytime use. The bonus is used before paid bundle.

Hafeez explained that Smile decided on the Double Data offer to further accentuate its often-stated pledge of constant innovation, superior product offerings and the unyielding quest to always exceed customers’ expectations.

Indications are that the DoubleData offer will be a hit given the increase in data consumption by ever-mobile Nigerians who have now curtailed their movements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is indeed commendable that Smile decided to use this period of COVID-19 pandemic to offer 100% more of data, remarkably in the tick of Sallah holidays and festivities, noted Olajide Yusuf, an Ikeja based entrepreneur.

An acclaimed innovative company, Smile was the first to launch VoLTE on its network and has continued with its innovation, having introduced SmileVoice, which is a free mobile app that enables customers with any Android or Apple iPhone device (including those which are not VoLTE-¬enabled) to make SuperClear voice calls over Smile’s 4G LTE network. Smile was also the first to introduce an Unlimited offering, which enables SuperFast data and SuperClear voice, all on one bundle.
