Enugu East LGA Aspirant Promises Equal Treatment To Non Indigenes

Enugu East Local Government chairmanship aspirant, Pastor Beloved-Dan Anike has promised non-indigenes in the Local Government under the auspices of Mbulujodo West Electoral Ward, Urban Unit that the era of segregation between the indigenes of the Area and non-indigenes will be a thing of the past as soon as he mounts the mantle of leadership of the Local Government.
Pastor Anike who is the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) standard flag bearer for the September 21, Local Government Election in Enugu State gave the assurance during his campaign tour of the Ward.
He praised the people for their industry and efforts to develop Enugu East Local Govt Area in particular and Enugu State in general that their efforts will no longer be un- rewarded.
The clergy man cum politician revealed that the Governor Peter Mbah administration has awarded contract for the repairs of 27 roads in Emene, stressing that it is just necessary that residents of the area key into the governor’s developmental strides to make Emene a worthy place to live.
On the issue of appointments and other empowerment programmes for the people, he promised that his administration will accord the people their equal shares of democracy dividends.
Earlier in his address of welcome, leader of the ward, Mr. Timothy Okoro (Uchudo) gave a firm promise that the people of the ward will vote massively for the PDP and all its candidates.
In the entourage of the Chairmanship hopeful were, the State Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Dr. Felix Nnanyelugo Nnamani, former commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Engr. Greg Nnaji, the Deputy Chairmanship Candidate, Engr. Kingsley Anike, former House of Representatives Member, Hon Cornelius Nnaji, PDP Chairman in Enugu East, Jon. Okey Igbokwe, Councillor representing the ward in the Local Government, Hon Chinwe Nnamani, party stalwarts, followers and faithful.
