Shu’ara replaces Yemi-Esan as PM ministry of education

Dr. Jamila Shu’ara has taken over from Dr.FolasadeYemi-Esan as the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Education following the recent approval for the deployment of three Permanent Secretaries by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking during the taking-over ceremony Dr Shu’ara expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded her by the out-going Permanent Secretary and Directors of the Ministry.

She said that she believes in teamwork, and called for the support of all the staff of the Ministry.

The incoming Permanent Secretary commended Dr.Yemi-Esan for her doggedness, noting that her tenure witnessed a lot of achievements in the education sector, and promised that she will always tap intoYemi-Esan’s wealth of experience.

Speaking earlier, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan acknowledged the magnitude of work in the Ministry, and thanked God for giving her the strength to cope effectively. She also expressed appreciation for the support she got from the Directors and the entire staff of the Federal Ministry of Education.

While Dr.FolasadeYemi-Esan was posted to the Office of Head of Service of the Federation, Dr.Shu’ara, until her deployment, was the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
