British Airways Organises Workshop For Northern Trade Partners

In a bid to strengthen its relationship and further familiarize its  Northern trade partners with its service offerings,   British Airways  organised a two part event featuring a Workshop and Performance Recognition Awards in Abuja recently.

The workshop which featured forty-five Managing Directors and Agency Managers, was an avenue to discuss British Airways products and further familiarize travel agents with its products ranging from Groups booking process, British Airways ticketing process, Dual inventory fares (DIF), IAG sales hub and also to thank agents who have performed very well in the Northern part of Nigeria in the year 2018.

Speaking on the workshop, the Regional Commercial Manager for West Africa, Kola Olayinka said, “At British Airways, we value the relationships we have with our trade partners. This workshop gave us the opportunity to engage them one on one, giving them an in-depth look into our various products, and how they can make the best use of them. It gave us a chance to create an avenue for constructive discussions and interactions.”

The award segment of the event had six categories recognising the best performing travel agent and Highest Selling travel agent to London 2018 which went to Jireh Travels and Tours Ltd; most professional travel agent in year 2018 which went to Topaz Travels and Tours Ltd; most improved travel agent in year 2018 which went to Splash Land Travels and Tours Ltd; highest selling travel agent to North Atlantic in year 2018 which went to Hinterland Travels and Tours Ltd and most promising agent in 2019 which went to Ibbsa travels and Tours Ltd.

It was also an opportunity for a lucky Trade Partner to win a Business Class ticket to London. The winner of the raffle draw was Jireh Travels and Tours Ltd.
