Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has visited chef Hilda Baci to show his support as she attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time.
Hilda Baci is a Multi-talented TV producer, actress, and foodpreneur. Her highly anticipated four-day cook-a-thon, which started on May 11 is one for the Guinness World Records.

Holding at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos, she is showcasing her culinary skills using various local and intercontinental recipes to put Nigeria on the global culinary map.

Baci, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of My Food by Hilda, a fast-food restaurant in Lekki,  attempts to break the record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds set by Chef Lata London in Rewa, India in 2019.

Sanwo-Olu who  showed up at the venue to meet with Baci , also made this known on his Twitter page on Sunday.

The Governor wrote, “I showed up to support Chef Hilda Baci, in her quest to break the Guinness World Record @GWR for the longest time spent cooking by an individual.

“Her dedication, passion for cooking as well as her desire to put our rich culture on the map by not only exhibiting our food but also the resilience, determination, energy and team spirit that has come to be known as the spirit of Lagos and indeed Nigeria is truly remarkable.

“We are proud to have Hilda embarking on this journey in our state. I will continue to follow the updates and look forward to the final declaration.”
